Happy Lunar New Year!

Been away for around a month, because of thesis preparation. And now for lunar special, I'd love to share about halal Jjajangmyeon recommendation in Karawaci.

Chung Gi Wa opened noodle restaurant named J.J.M in Supermal Karawaci, Tangerang. Offers jjajangmyeon, jjampong, and several other noodle dishes. But they also serves chicken dish such as tangsuyuk. The restaurant itself is not as spacious as Chung Gi Wa. But the taste is good enough for non-pork dish, compared to jjajangmyeon of another halal korean restaurant. 

My first visit companied by a friend, he says that the interior look like examination room because of the partition for every one or two tables. About the ambiance, you'll feel like in a chinese restaurant with red colour and wood ornament. You know, korea has similar ambiance like china.

After you chose a seat, a waiter will come and place side dish like paste (I'm not quite sure, but I think it's gochujang), pickled radish, and raw onion.

They also put the cutlery which is being sterilized by heated water. Why scissors? Trust me, it'll helpful to cut the noodle.

Tangsuyuk (M) 65,000 IDR

The service is good, because they're in reachable distance in case you'll need something and they're all hospitable. For the price is quite affordable. Large jjajangmyeon only costs 45,000 IDR, and soft drink only costs 7,000 IDR.
