Bandung: Dusun Bambu

Dusun Bambu is one of the family restaurant located in Lembang. I do not know when exactly this restaurant opened for public, because I think I never heard any information about this from media. I just saw from people who shares his/her photo on social media. It is located like deep in Lembang hill, much far away than Sapulidi. I feel like the direction that lead us to Dusun Bambu is a dead-end. And it's true, the path that we've been through surpass the main gate of Dusun Bambu (P1) and lead us to the parking lot (P2 & P3).

Farmhouse Susu Lembang well-known for its hobbit house. You know The Hobbit right? The main character in prequel of The Lord of The Ring is a hobbit named Bilbo Baggins who lives in Shire.
When you're arrived at the gate entrance, there is several staff who would ask for passenger's amount. The ticket price is affordable (20,000 IDR/person and 10,000 IDR/car) because it's already included a cup of fresh milk with various flavour. Entering the area there is direction board, but I didn't take a look well so I decided to start with a left-turn.

Gading Serpong: Thai Alley

Few days before, one of my friend posted a snap of Mango Sticky Rice on Snapchat. Nowadays I felt like so many people uploaded a picture of it, am I being delusional? This Thai food had been capture my interest from long before, but I still do not think that I'm able to eat this. Somehow, I really really want to try it. Thai Alley is a best option for me, besides the location is nearby my home and my friend gave a good review of it.

Semarang: Must Visit Place Day 2

On next day in Semarang, I thought that it would be great to go to Ungaran. But Dithot said that it is too far away. So we decided to go to nearest place-to-go in Semarang: Pagoda Avalokitesvara. I do not know why, but our destination is rather like religion trip. Yesterday was Chinese temple, and today is Buddha pagoda. But their ethnic architecture was cool. This Pagoda gains MURI records as the highest pagoda in Indonesia (2006) for the height of 45 m.

I started my intern in March this year and will be ended in February next year. Keeping in mind that I would be an intern for whole year without inter-semester holiday make me sick. 25 September 2016

We both same age, different maturity.

Last night I had a nightmare. In my dream, I had disease that I need monthly treatment abroad. The nightmare isn't stop there. When I went abroad for the treatment, someone told me that my best friend died. In that dream, I fainted. When I regain my conscious, I cried. After that moment, suddenly I woke up from my dream and I got my self in tears.

Still in tears, I tried to look for my phone to call that friend just to ensure everything okay. Still in tears, I tried to buy vouchers for my mobile phone first, since my remaining balance was not enough to make a call. Still in tears, I called him. And alhamdulillah, he picked my call up.

Hearing I was in tears, he asked. He thought that maybe something emergency came up. But when I told him that I had a nightmare about him, he tried to comfort me. Because he need to attend class, he had to hang my call up. But after that, he texted me and try to comfort me. He asked how he died in my dream, but unfortunately I was not so sure because I fainted right after I read the announcement text. He asked because the night before he died in his dream too. Knowing that fact, I asked him to meet up that evening.

In the evening, he told me that he was shock hearing what I said. He was in the elevator when he picked my call up. And right beside him, there was his lecturer. After the prologue, he continue telling about the dream he had. He was sleeping over at his friend's house that night, and in his dream he and his friends already knew their death time. So all of them prepared what to answer, and already change their clothes into white one. In his dream, he jumped out of the cliff. He senses when his soul left his body. And he thought that my dream was the sequel. Come to think about it, perhaps it was the sequel. Because I only received the announcement. Ah, my mistake fainted too soon.

I am afraid of losing people around me, as equal as I afraid to confront my death. Since none of us knew when our time came up.

After we visited a friend who is hospitalized, he drove me home. On my way back home, he lecture me something. Yeah, he is a type to give 'kultum' to his friends. Kultum is a term of short lecture especially about religion for around seven minutes. But that night, he is giving lecture for more than seven minutes. I'm lucky enough to have him as a friend, who always kindly share his knowledge.

He told me that we are not teenager anymore that we should plan our future responsibly. He told me to focus on my college and intern. He told me to push aside thought of love or relationship, and that if me and my match destined together will find its way. He told me that good guy will get good guy, but if good guy got bad guy that means the good guy capable to guide the bad guy.

I got sullen as he took a quick glance and laugh. He got the idea of "My friend is not mature yet for this kind of convo"

He is a good guy. I wish him healthy and prosperity in this life.

Yogyakarta: Candi Prambanan

I was riding a bus inter-provincial with Sujan as well, which only cost 20,000 IDR. The journey itself took around 2 or 3 hours. In Yogyakarta, we visited Prambanan temple. We walked quite a distance from the bus stop, but the scenery made it worthy. That time was my first to Prambanan temple. Prambanan temple was quite famous for its folktale.

Solo: Keraton Solo

My journey this time, isn't stop in Malang. After Malang, I went to Solo to visit my best pal Song Sujan. At first we arranged to go to Malang together, but because my other pal (which is currently study in Brawijaya University) bought the ticket back to Malang just too close to new semester, so I don't think we could make it. So here I am, travelling through cities alone. I was taking economic train too Malioboro Ekspres which only cost 140,000 IDR. Before my boarding, I was little confused to get to the destined platform. All the railway was fenced. But nobody was there. But somehow I found two security guards chit-chatting in a little room. They direct me to go downstair before going upstair depends on which platform I'm going.

Finally... I was on board. Just like other economic, the two seats meat other two seats. In front of me there is a couple (do not know whether they were married or not). But the woman is so kind to ask her man to help me put my belonging in the luggage rack. Then out of nowhere, the woman ask me if I was used to travel alone. I said, "No, this is my first time". She was speechless. According to how do I look, I seems younger than this couple. After that, she asked my reason to travel to Solo. I said, "Visit my best pal". And she was speechless over again. I do not know why I love to travel. Sweet escape from my routine, perhaps? Of course, like others do I prefer to travel in group. But sometimes, what we planned do not happen as we plan. So it's better for me to travel as I wish. But of course, I do still need a partner to travel with in my destination.

My train left early in the morning, around 08.00 and going to be arrive in Solo around 14.00. Why I use 'around'? If you're traveling with economic train, it's kinda hard to use 'sharp'. I do remember that my train was late-arriving, because I was sooo bored like I was gonna die. When I was arrived, I scream to death saw Sujan's face. But she was in shocked cause of my voice. Later she told me that in Solo, the citizen has lower volume when they spoke, and it was obvious that I came from Jakarta. I don't think people from Jakarta would speak in higher volume, but based on my observation I spoke in excitement that could not even dodge higher volume coming out from my mouth. HEHE.

In Solo, we only had around one or two days free before Sujan start new semester. We decided to go to Keraton Solo using Batik Solo Trans. In Jakarta we have Transjakarta, right? In Keraton, we met our other pal: Nieko. That day, we had Soto as our lunch in a restaurant near Keraton. Finally, "Soto" a traditional food. Before what do I eat is Pizza Hut, KFC, Indomie, all the food that I could find in Jakarta as well. Feel so refreshened. Ah, I was took a lot a picture. But, I couldn't find any picture of it by now.

My visit to Solo this time I could not taste any other traditional food, and the only public place I visit beside department store is only Keraton Solo. Sujan said, that it was hard to reach good places in Solo if we do not have private transportation, so she suggested to go to Jogja. She told me the night before that we need to go to train station early in the morning in order to get ticket. But you know, we reach train station by 8 and there is no ticket left. Then we decided to take a taxi. We were being deceived literally, they set minimum payment higher. And here we go to Jogja!

Malang: Batu Secret Zoo

Yep! Batu Secret Zoo. Have u ever heard it? Of course you are!
This zoo unlikely others. They're more attractive and modern. Before you enter the zoo, you have to pass the water splash in order to kill any bacteria that would infect the animals. The differences between batu secret zoo and other zoo are the stage of the animals, playground, and path walk. The zoo is soooo huge. The cage of the animals are in section and in order. For example, after the entry gate you'll see the monkeys. After that you'll see the lemurs. These section are in order, that means you should follow the direction. In fact, you could go back but after you're inside this zoo you will wonder what is next.

Like he is after bath and drying his body under the sun light...

Malang: Coban Rondo

Next is Coban Rondo. Coban Rondo is the name of the waterfall near Pujon, after Batu. Actually, Coban Rondo located in recreation park which has maze, and other games before the location of the waterfall. But, we didn't explore the other cause we thought after we reach the waterfall, we could go back and we're wrong. The pathway back from the waterfall led us to the exit way.

Malang: Candi Badut

"Candi Badut"
Have u ever heard that? Maybes yes to 'diligent' student which is remember every detail in historical text book. My aunt or as I call her "Mbak Sari" didn't know that this temple exists in Malang city. However, the location is no longer in city area. That day we use Waze, a map application, to help us reach our destination. When we arrive, the temple area is completely empty. Empty of tourist, i mean. Only several people at the post. Several students from college and the real keepers. At first, the college's student offer us the guidance about the history about this temple, but we refuse. Considering that we need to take 'us' time to exploring the candi. But no longer after we read the information board, we're getting confused of several unseen text and unclear meaning of the word. Then we ask the college student to tell more about this temple.

Malang: Museum Angkut+

"It's been so long.....
.....that I haven't seen your face"

Another hi! I've been travelling to many places recently. I was on trip to Malang by economic train named Matarmaja (180k IDR, because of holiday season) from Senen Train Station. It was my very first time ride boarding on economic train. And it was also my very first time visiting Senen Train Station. Since it wasn't my only experience (but also my dad), my dad asked my aunt to escort me until boarding. I was truly impressive about the online ticketing! Recently, KAI has launched mobile app (named KAI Access which is you can download it through Google Play Store for Android users) to help the future passenger to book their seat online. That means, we don't have to in line to buy the ticket. You can book it through neither web nor mobile app. You can also choose your preference seat number even the carriage number. My advice, if you don't have registered internet banking you'd prefer book by mobile app. Because after you book, you must pay within 3 hours and if you haven't registered internet banking that means you have to reach nearby ATM. This app friendly enough for you whose less familiar of new technology. And for more info, that this online booking only for inter-provincial (or ticket price above 30k IDR).

I passed the checking area, while my aunt was shout it out loud that I need to take care of my belonging on board and to take care of my self. Embarrassing! But, thanks anyway to stay little longer till the time to boarding. Successfully I found my seat! I was actually half-mistaken to come from front door, because my seat actually located near the back door.  There was already a middle-aged man who sat next to the window, which is supposed to be my seat. But he acted like a kind-hearted man allowed me to sit there. HUFF. I chose that seat by the way! But it was alright since he was nice, chatting to me to comfort our situation. Even though he was surprised about my reason to Malang. Yeah, it seems non sense. I admit it. But still, he didn't mind any longer. The lack of economic train that it's have so many station to stopped by. I was always waken up hearing the locomotive's bell. Such annoying!

On my first day of arrival, i ask my cousins, or my aunt and uncle exactly, to go to Museum Angkut+. For ticket price info, you probably click here. At first, I have no idea what's inside this museum. I only knew it from several photos on Instagram. Fyi, this museum is transportation museum. That means, this museum collect a lot of transportation which has been used all this time from around the world. In this museum, you'll totally forget that you're in Batu, Malang. Yeah, they designed the room in detail. First, when you enter the museum it was completely like the ballroom filled in by any transportation.
